Extremely Rare Antique Chinese Court Official Nephrite Jade Bead c1800s

Extremely rare antique Chinese nephrite jade bead. This is a beautiful court official's hat bead or known as Ding Dai Chao Zhu. It is a solid jade bead in soft green colour with some white inclusions. It has a gold floral pin going through the centre. A court official's hat bead is worn on top of the hat when wearing their court attire.

I have included a photograph of what a Ding Dai Chao Zhu. Looks like instead of trying to describe it. The Chao Zhu was bought in Beijing in the 1960s at a government operated Friendship Store. It was an era when. Wore Mao suits and served with a surly face.

I have savoured this treasure for 50 years and never wanted to sell it. This is your chance to own this rarity.

It has nothing to do with the item. Most of my collection is one of a kind. I bought the items because I liked it for myself.
