From basement restorations to paying off our truck so I can get an all-wheel drive vehicle in the crazy Ohio weather. In our haste to try and do too much we constantly check in with our son Lincoln to see what he's learning and what new experiences he'd like to have. Well, recently we have been really heavy on the "be kind" and "be nice" learning train. After a conversation with Lincoln he let us know he'd like to see Monster Trucks Jam 2023 and he'd like to go see Mickey for his 50th birthday at Walt DisneyWorld. I told him those were two BIG GOALS. He didn't know (I do), but I wanted to continue the kindness lesson, but also want him to start learning how hard work is mandatory to get what you want. So, I set it up to explain to him how much those two things would cost. He had a puzzled look on his face until it seemed like a lightbulb went off.

He got a huge grin on his face and pointed to his piggy bank. In the midst of this discussion we are cleaning out our basement and a lot of things we need to let go. Lincoln is walking around the basement yelling "sell, sell, " like he's playing duck-duck-goose to things I really don't want to sell.

To make it a game we have decided we will sell the junk Lincoln deems to "sell, " and put them up. For every item bought Lincoln will also be doing random acts of kindness choosing the act of kindness or taking suggestions. We will document this for Lincoln and his "customers" on a soon-to-be named blog and YouTube channel.

Since Lincoln is a minor and we don't want any issues, Lincoln will only be completing random acts of kindness each day for 60minutes. Anything over, he will have help. Anyways, we thought this would be a fun lesson and amazing experience for our little Squish!
